The Peperami Brief & Making Sure The Best Idea Gets Paid
Daniel Neville
Usually we here at Idea Bounty like to announce the winning idea for a brief as soon as we possibly can. In the past we’ve managed this within a week of the brief closing. This time, however you may have to wait a while longer.
At midnight on the 23rd of October the Peperami brief closed with a total of 1185 submissions from a creative community that has grown to more than 8000 members. This was more than triple the amount of ideas we’ve received per brief in the past and the quality and brilliant thinking made it even harder to choose one winning Idea... but dont worry we will get there!
We also mentioned in our last newsletter that we are very proud to have Mark Sherrington - who was the first Group Marketing Director of SABMiller - on board the good ship, Idea Bounty. Mark has been helping in the selection process and along with the Idea Bounty and Unilever teams has been locked away in our judging cave ensuring we end up paying the best idea.
We’re hoping to have a winner soon and promise not to keep you waiting once we know!
In the mean time we seem to be causing a bit of a stir and have managed to get ourselves mentioned in some very cool publications over the last week - check some of them out below. The team over at Unilever has been very impressed and so we have an awesome comment from Noam Buchalter, marketing manager for Peperami, to pass on to you all;
"We'd like to thank you all for your energy, creativity and brain power. We're really confident that we've got some truly outstanding ideas to work with and look forward to making the final decision this week."
We must say we second the comment from Noam. Thank you all for your support, enthusiasm and creativity - Idea Bounty would be nothing without you!
