Congratulations on winning the Levi's Bounty. When I called you sounded pretty shocked. Did you think you had the winning Idea?

Thank you! Well actually, on the day you called I was at home nursing a really bad tummy bug, so I was shocked and totally unprepared! I am a single mother of 2 and I never thought that any of the Ideas that I had submitted would actually win it!

Tell us about your day job?

I am a Content Developer at Achievement Awards Group. After 9 years in marketing, I decided to change direction about 6 months ago. I now spend my days coding HTML and Java, learning how to play in Flash, Illustrator and Photoshop and I LOVE IT!

You submitted 3 ideas so the hamster wheel must be turning pretty fast. What do you do to keep your mind ticking over with fresh and tasty ideas?

I have always been a BIG idea kind of girl! In fact, I have often said that if I had a Dollar for every big idea I ever had, I’d be styling. I am not sure if I’ve had 3 000 ideas but this sure feels pretty styling! I think part of keeping the mind going is just about staying in touch with the trends, but being careful not to get too stuck in them so I’m still able to pop my head up every now and again and jump out the box!

How long did it take you to come up with the idea - was it a toilet moment (I get lots of ideas on the toilet) or a cunningly crafted plan?

Actually, I was sitting around with a bunch of friends when I threw out the “what kinds of things that would add value to YOUR outdoor party experience” question. The conversation that ensued really got my creative juices flowing!

Any favourite online places that fill you with joy and inspiration?

One of my favourite blogs to read is Dooce, but mostly I hang out on Flickr and Facebook! I also spend a lot of time on tutorial sites, learning how to do cool things in the programs I work with!

So the $3 000 question - what are you doing with the cash? Do you have any plans?

Yes! There are BIG plans! Some of them responsible and grown up, but mostly fun and completely foolish! :)
