The Scale Of The Universe
Zac Rusagara
I have been in love with all things “space and cosmos” since I was a little kid. Don’t get me wrong I’m not into looking for aliens or looking for ET or anything like that. I am simply fascinated by how massive the universe is and how little we know about it. It is with delight then that when I found this awesome site that lets you explore the universe without the need for a space suit, I was over the moon. See what I did there?
You can click here to go the site and explore for yourself, it’s very easy to use. Basically use the slider bar, shown in the image below, to slide it up and down. This will then minimise or maximise the "universe" you are observing.
You will see the scale ranges from atom, human, planet size and so on. Created by Cary and Michael Huang, this is my latest obsession. Click here to visit their website and explore some of their other work. Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
