The new crowd-funding site is an initiated by two passionate businessmen, Nick Essame, and Martin Ras.

What makes Crowd-funding.co.za unique is that it will be slightly different than the original manner of crowd funding. Instead of pooling money together for a number of causes, known and unknown to the participants, crowd-funding.co.za will aim to raise US $ 130,160 in a two month period starting 1 February – 31 March 2012 for one technology based start-up called Ching.

At the moment we can't tell if this site has been started purely to fund this single new startup, Ching, or if it will be looking to raise equally large amounts of money for others - one start up at a time.
