Charity Swear Box

Zac Rusagara

This is an awesome idea for your office, if you don’t already do it. It’s taking the concept of a swear jar online. Yes, you can actually use your bad language to benefit a charity.

Charity Swearbox is a donation-based site that was the result of hard work put in by the amazing guys at Fueled Mobile Design and Dev. It detects how often your tweets contain profanities and then suggests an appropriate amount of money to donate to charity. Once you have logged in, using your Twitter details, it will scrutinize your timeline and detect any swearing, what a cool concept!

Once you have agreed on the amount that you want to donate, you can do so by using Paypal. But what if you haven’t sworn at all? Well it will allow you to send out a crude tweet filled with as many profanities as you can fit into 140 characters. Brilliant! Brilliant! Brilliant!

Conceptualised by James Dow and Jay Gelardi, this is definitely a project that is worth a few minutes of your time. You can also follow their blog here  for more awesomness. So, what do you think about it?
