Stop Motion Wednesday :: Gulp - The Largest Stop Motion Animation Ever

This weeks stop motion takes us back almost a year when the worlds smallest stop motion animation (shot entirely on a Nokia N8) called "Dot" was released to the world. Now the team who made"Dot" - a directing duo know as Sumo Science - have released their next latest project titled Gulp… check it out below: 

Now im sure you don't realised this yet but what you saw in Gulp was actually a full sized boat and the set was a 11,000 square foot beach in Wales! In addition to this the whole thing is once again shot on a Nokia N8 (Just like the two the TEDx team gave away off the back of their last brief) Billed as the world largest stop motion animation ever the scale and effort put into this is only apparent once you watch the making of. Personally I can't imagine the planning and effort that went into the animation of this - hundreds of people repeatedly starching images into the sand must have been quite the project to manage!
