Stop Motion Wednesday: Deadline 2 - Sticking Close To You
Daniel Neville
This weeks stop motion is an interesting one from a couple of angles. Firstly it is a continuation of a stop motion animation that we covered last year called Deadline. Deadline was an amazing little stop motion made by a student using Post-it-Notes. Secondly it now it seem that Stick'n - a competitor of Post-It-Notes - has caught onto the Idea and as a part of their regrinding process which took place last year they created a follow on stop motion to Deadline.
To me this amazing thing is that 11 cities around the world in 40 days were visited by just 2 people in order to make the video. The message is a little simple in my mind but it is communicated very well. Produced by Bang-Yao Liu (yes thats the same guy who produced the original Deadline video) this is equally as impressive if not more so than the original - if only because of its scale. Check out the making of below for a little more on how it was done.
