This Is Where We Live

This week we have a wonderful stop motion film that makes you pine for the good old fashioned printed book, perhaps because we all realise that soon the the Kindle and the iPad with take its place. Beautifully animated im convinced that if books were alive this is where they would live - welcome to our world of books.

The three minute stop motion film was shot over three weeks and was commissioned to celebrate the 25th anniversary of 4th Estate Publishers. Over 20 animators took part in the project, and no less than 1000 books were put to use. There is a quite detailed look at the making of here if you are interested.
