Stop Motion Wednesday - Moleskine
Daniel Neville
This weeks video is an awesome new stop motion video for Moleskine by Dutch visual artist Rogier Wieland. The video shows off the new Extra Small Planners that have recently been introduced by Moleskine - Apparently they are about the size of a smart phone. Anyway back to the video.
Made with 15 planners and with more than 533 pages animated, shooting the video took about two weeks. Once more all the pages that have animations were either cut out by hand or done using a laser cutter. I love the way the animation mixes stop motion techniques and the cut and paste style of the pop-ups, it just works so well in drawing the viewer into a new little world contained in the pages of the Moleskine. There is an awesome 'making of' video below if you are interested.
