Facebook Profile Art - "like"

Daniel Neville

This morning I spotted something very cool on Facebook - profile art. Yes thats right, taking inspiration from the Cubist and Surrealist art movements people are beginning to transform their Facebook profiles into modern contemporary tributes. The first one to pop up came from (no surprises here) a French artist named Alexandre Oudin - his profile page is below:

Basically Alexandre managed to make use of the new Facebook profile layout in an extremely creative way - while Facebook has always benefited from its sleek blue and white design (saving it from the flashing GIF infested hell of MySpace) Alexandre has demonstrated there are still ways to express your personality on Facebook. Whats more interesting is that this unique way of using the 5 images now displayed on the top of a profile page is becoming a hit. Check out some of the others I found below:

For anyone who wants to copy his style, all you have to do is block the other photos you’re tagged in and upload photos to your profile pictures album that are the exact size (yes, down to the pixel) of the display on Facebook and there you go. To make it easier there is even a specially created tool to help you slice the images which you can grab here along with instructions.

It's easy to do a profile like that using Facebook's Application "Profil-Art".

Just have to upload your picture, it cuts, uploads, organise to do a profil art
