Happy Halloween - Claymation Zombie Films

So just in time for halloween this year is one of the most brutal claymation films I have ever seen… Chainsaw Maid 2. I had not seen the original Chainsaw Maid before so had little idea of what as in store - It turns out they are the perfect ode to the horror/splatter films from the early 70's while also paying homage to one of the greatest directors of zombie movies ever George A. Romero. 

The brutal clay animation starts out slowly but fast turns into the craziest claymation blood bath ever created. The story of both shorts follow a faithful maid as she tries to fend off a zombie attack using a chainsaw. Produced by Japanese claymation artist Takena these two short are technically very well put together - never has clay looked this violent. So sit back and kick off your halloween weekend with a private viewing of Chainsaw Maid 1 & 2
