Just One Of Those Good Ideas - Trailblazers
Daniel Neville
Don't you hate it when you have an Idea only to start looking into making it happen and find that infact it was such a good Idea someone else got there before you…happens to me all the time. Anyway, a couple of nights ago Tim, head of Idea Bountys sitter company BrandsEye, were chatting about how cool it would be to create a structured game that was essential a race across Wikipedia using links… well guess what it exists - infact many of them exist. I looked into it a bit more an found that 'web racing' is quite a big thing. Introducing Trailblazers - "A web surfing contest with no keyboard and no Google Allowed"
Search engines have made web surfing easy - infact I hardly hear the term anymore - but the question is can you find your way from Amazon to the Pirate Bay only using links? That was the challenge leveled to participants of Trailblazers, a web browsing competition that recently held its inaugural contest in Stuttgart, Germany. Participants were challenged to "Surf the classic way from amazon to pirate bay."
