Stop Motion Wednesday - LINO "the pursuit of perfect waves in the plastic world”
Daniel Neville
So what do you do if you are an avid surfer and there are no waves? Well you can try your hand at a new sport that seems to have popped up (thanks to the intraweb) called 'Tarp Surfing' which sounds silly in theory but looks oh so cool on video - no really check it out here - or you can pour your time, creativity and effort into producing a stop motion film about surfing and “the pursuit of perfect waves in the plastic world”
Maybe its because I enjoy the sea myself but this has to be one of the coolest and most creative stop motion films I have seen in a while. It took Karim Rejeb, the films creator, three months to complete and the fact that he is a surfer himself makes the film all the more special. If you are interested there is an awesome little interview with Karim on SurfBang - apparently there will be a second episode of LINO by the end of the year!
