Stop Motion Wednesday - Monogrenade's 'Ce Soir'

I have said it before but stop motion animation has seemingly become all the rage lately and as a result the creativity of the medium is being pushed all the time - yielding some beautiful results - non more so than this, the first, music video from Monogrenade a band based in Montreal called 'Ce Soir'

'Ce Soir' has to be one of the most beautiful looking video of the year. Filled with some very haunting imagery, the abandoned house in the swamp, wallpaper flying off walls, chairs twirling in the air… the video has to be one of the best animated shorts we have seen - its not gimmicky or cheese although it had the ability to fall into that trap. More than than the art direction gives the whole video one hell of a polished feel and really compliments the tone of the song.
