Durex Baby Application!

So you are a wild 21 year old constantly out on the prowl. You clearly fancy the ladies - sometimes you might win the favor of your desire and other times you might not be so lucky. However, there may be times in which you are a little too reckless… particularly in the “sack”.

Durex has developed an application which curbs that. The app is purely compatible with the Apple iPhone and allows any “caring friend” to transfer the app to their reckless friend by means of Bluetooth. Check out the campaign video below:

Similar to a Virtual Pet, this app is a virtual baby serving as a reminder of the consequences of performing unprotected sex. Not only will you have to bathe, feed or rock the virtual baby, you will also have the whole world witnessing you do so. That’s right, thanks to Facebook connect, the entire planet (or rather your Facebook friends) will know that you have become a father! Fortunately, this is not a permanent feature of the iPhone. By purchasing a packet of Durex condoms, you can take a photo of a digitized pattern/ barcode at the back of the packet and it will immediately remove the application. This application viral was developed by VILLADS + AMMENTORP from Germany. Perhaps the most inspirational lesson anyone can learn from this is to never go to a party, without a hat!
