
Stop Motion Wednesday - Creative Office Environment

I have spoken before about the increasing use of stop motion animation in advertising and todays little production is a perfect example of this. Made by Jessica Findaley this brilliantly made but badly titled (the only bad thing about it) short is a seriously cool example of how well stop motion can work in ads. This one in order to promote the new collection of office stationary from Moleskine which includes "printable paper, document folder, index book and ring binder" which all appear in the short.
What I really appreciate is the synergy between the actual Moleskine products and the medium (stop motion) of the short. Traditionally creative people - artists, animators, designers, illustrators, are well know for their love of the Moleskine. These are also the exact people who are more than likely going to immediately appreciate the creative effort that goes into a stop motion animation. Therefore they are almost certainly more likely to feel an emotional connection with the products showcased. Simply brilliant im sure you will agree.
