The Streamy Awards 2010

Last night the winners of the 2010 Streamy Awards were announced in a ceremony in Los Angeles. Basically The Streamys are awarded to web TV series by the International Academy of Web Television - the equivilant of the Oscars for the web if you will. You can see a full ist of the winners broken down into each category here.
There were a few hiccups, both technical and content wise, during the ceremony (which was streamed live) and awards received quite a bit of negaive feedback, ezpecially on twitter. I have to add in here that it was good of the organisers to post an apology for the problems that were had on the night. Never the less it is great to see video and film on the web pulling itself together for something like this, now here is to next year!
