Stopmotion Wed - AIDES Graffiti

I have, in the past, worked for one or two NGO's that deal with AIDS and the HIV pandemic and it is probably one of the hardest spaces to play in. Conveying a strong and meaningful message through the clutter is difficult. Once you realise how shut off most people are from the problem you become aware of how large the challenge really is. It's when you realise this that ads like the ones below are not that shocking. 

Produced by by TBWA Paris (the same guys who produced the above ads) for the Public Health and Safety Sector the below viral stop motion certainly manages to get itself noticed and hopefully gets the message across. WARNING: it's a little NSFW.

In case you were wondering AIEDS is not a misspelling of AIDS - AIDES is the largest active NGO in France working on HIV related issues. As a message in its category this stop motion is simply brilliant. Its controversial nature makes it stand out from the crowd. A lonely penis wanders a dingy public bathroom, unable to find love until he figures out how to protect himself -  a very creative idea. Once more I think the add gets people talking about AIDS which is something that most other ads in the same space fail to do. What do you think?
