Stop Motion Wednesday: Song Without A Hero by The Orange Strips

Tobias Stretch is an artist and filmmaker who graces our blog today, because he makes some epic stop motion videos, mostly for musicians and bands. He’s worked with big names like Radiohead, Efterklang (totally worth a listen if you haven’t heard them yet!) and the music video we feature today from a Croation band, The Orange Strips.
The stop motion elements in this video are made up of more than 3 000 pictures! The storyline is simple: In the night, two lost creatures in search of something, find each other. I think it’s wonderfully strange – a perfect pairing with Song without a Hero. The video is a delightful explosion of visual oddities filled with stunning light effects. The night creatures’ meeting is a beautiful climax – like a lucid dream that lingers and haunts you the following day. It’s officially my favourite stop motion. Enjoy!
