Can you down 2 liters of milk in under an hour? Can you eat a whole pizza in four minutes? The other day I bumped into an awesome site, or rather social network, called Bragster - kinda like Jackass meets Facebook.

Basically the site is all about bragging and acts as a platform where friends and members of the community challenge others to do a ridiculous stunt, and immortalizes the feat via a video online. The whole idea is that before you dare others you have to have some street cred or bragging rights which you can only obtain by completing others dares. Infact here is a dare from Brendon Bodson, one of the sites founders: I dare you to bring your mum onto Bragster!, 50 Cent and Mandy Moore already are."

Dares range from the safe (dye your hair pink), to the ridiculous (get slapped in the face with a fish) to the potentially dangerous (get shot in the torso ten times with a BB gun). Users can also wage bets against the community as a whole and Brands are now getting into the action: recently Tango and Nissan have joined Bragster are are both daring the community to do things and responding to the communities dares in return.

The most awesome example is when Tango turned its can 'upside down' in response to a dare from the Bragster community. Needless to say Tango picked up a good 7,216 bragging rights for that one. Personally I think the whole concept is brilliant and I can't wait to see what else the comes out of this very active community.... If my friends are anything to go by - as soon as you start making people compete against each other things get crazy - and the bragging rights on Bragster are something worth competing for!
