Daniel Neville

Someone has finally put the lid on Gordon Ramsay. And they haven’t just jammed the bellicose old goat in a bottle for the sake of it either. Comic Relief’s Seriously Good campaign is in aid of a seriously good cause, which is a seriously good thing because the foul-mouthed culinarian is certainly no Christina Aguilera.

Seriously Good Sauces

According to the site, Ramsay first cooked up (their words, not mine) the idea to develop a range of sauces and grant the proceeds to charity while on an inspirational trip to Tanzania – which is somewhat of a surprise given that he runs his kitchen like a dictatorship, but fair play to the man.

It’s a fine cause accompanied by a fine website, and Ramsay, the peeps at Comic Relief, and everyone else involved deserves a slap on the back. Of course, they would have missed a trick by simply squashing Ramsay in and leaving him there and this is where a soon-to-be-released iPhone application comes into play.

Seriously Good iPhone app

By putting the iPhone’s motion sensor to use, the app will allow you to abuse him in a variety of wonderful ways. You’ll be able to poke and prod him, make him dizzy, and turn his world upside down, and there is absolutely nothing he’ll be able to do about it.

I never thought I’d say it, but perhaps he isn’t that much of a bastard after all....
