Nine Of The Most Innovative Sex Toys We Could Find

Debra Goldschmidt

In researching this blog post, I found that nothing really shocked me. Have we become so accustomed to seeing and hearing about way-out bizarre sex toys that nothing really surprises us anymore? With that said, there are some really inventive products on the market so I have compiled a list of what I think are the most original and novel toys available.

Clone A Willy

The first one on the list is the Clone-a-Willy Kit. This clever product allows one to make a perfect replica of your partner’s penis. The moulding process takes a matter of minutes after which it has to be left for a few hours to set. The kit contains all the moulding equipment (liquid rubber, moulding sleeve, etc) and a multispeed vibrating unit. You can also experiment with the colour of the mould by adding a small amount of an oil-based paint while mixing up the liquid rubber.

OhMiBod

Although there are a few iPod attachments which function as vibrators on the market, the OhMiBod Freestyle Vibrator is the world’s first wireless music driven vibrator. It has a 2.4 GHz wireless transmitter which is connected to your iPod, iPhone or any MP3 player for that matter. Once connected, this vibrator will pulsate to the beat of your favourite songs.  Freestyle can also work without music by merely switching to the manual mode option, where there are a number of speeds and styles to choose from.

The Acommordator Dong

The next toy on the list is one of the craziest ones I found:  The Accomodator Latex Dong. At first glance, one may think that this contraption looks bizarre and pointless but after giving it a bit of thought it you may start to realise its actually quite a good idea. This latex dong straps to one’s head, in order to allow ones mouth and hands freedom.

George Bush Butt Plug

Really, the image above should tell you just about everything you need to know about this sex toy. The George Bush butt plug takes political statements to the next level. It is a 4 inch silicon stimulation device which is sure to offend any staunch republican.

The Cone is one of the most discreet sex toys on the market today. Judging by its shape, most people would never dream that it is in fact an extremely diverse vibrator. One can descend on it, whether by sitting, squatting, crouching, or mounting it and experience pleasurable vibrations. There is even a wall mounting option, but somehow its 3000 RPM variable speed is probably a better suited for floor placement.

The WeVibe

The WeVibe is a different sort of sex toy in that it is designed to be used by both partners, at the same time. It is a flexible, C-shaped, silicone vibrator which can be enjoyed by both partners during sex so that neither party will feel neglected, and both can experience the ‘vibes’.

The Fascinator Throe

The next item is not a sex toy per say but will most certainly come in handy in the bedroom. The Fascinator Throe is a specially designed blanket which can absorb anything which you throw at it. It is equipped with an inner moisture barrier that is designed to protect your sheets from any moisture. One side of the blanket is a soft, sensual fabric which is made from micro fibre while the other side is a smooth satin.

The Sasi

The next toy is a smooth round massager designed for women, called the SaSi. What makes this toy unique is its very useful ability to remember what you like and repeat itself for next time. You have a number of patterns to choose from and you can adjust each for speed and vibration intensity. SaSi remembers the five patterns you spend the most time on in the ‘Learn’ function and will make them your personalised favourites.

The Squeel

The Squeel is the newest and possibly strangest looking toy on the market today. Its 10 little silicon ‘tongues’ are set on a rotating wheel, driven by a small motor. There are 3 speeds to choose from, powered by 3 triple A batteries. It is designed by an Irishman, Trevor Murphy, who won LoveHoney’s Design a Sex Toy competition and - the manufacturers may elease different attachments for the Squeel in the near future.

Hi Darryn. I'm glad you found the post interesting. Unfortunately Idea Bounty does not have a catalogue but you can order them online at www.lovehoney.co.uk and other online stores.

I don't understand how the Accomodator Latex Dong works, can you explain?

Debra on 21/10/2009

@Gavin, yes this particular s3x toy is quite a tricky one to understand. If you would like to read up about it I suggest you look at the following site which lays out the details. Enjoy.

Have you seen how expensive batteries are nowadays..could you suggest an alternative ?

Tim W on 21/10/2009

Fruit and veg city.

gavin on 21/10/2009

thanks debra, the Accomodator looks like it packs a punch!

Debra on 21/10/2009

@Darryn well if the price of batteries are turing you off then you could consider rechargeable ones. Sure, they are more expensive but they last forever. If thats still not your vibe then i think Tim W is onto something.

I can personally vouch for the Squeel.

I keep it under my seat and it provides a great pick-me-up on a slow Wednesday.

Tim W on 22/10/2009

Oh, right. I wondered who was screaming like that.

The Squeeel does look fun adult toy! What a great name - but it maybe a mission to keep clean tho. my latest (and favourite) toy is the new funfactory rabbit vibrator that i got. it's all silicone and doesn't smell like plastic, like so many of the cheap toys. Yes, Tim

Debra on 08/02/2010

@Lucy, thanks for the advice, I agree, the nasty plastic smell is definitely not ideal. We will look into the Funfactory Rabbit vibe.
