Bread Art
Katharina Scholtz
When Daniel showed me an exciting contraption this morning - one that decorates toast for you - two thoughts sprung into my mind. The first was that it's a little bit worrying how excited we get over essentially bizarre contraptions. The second was that there must be more weird things people had done with bread (don't judge me). From disturbing sculptures to bizarre art projects - I found a few original interpretations of what is normally a mundane daily food stuff .

Jeph Gurecka made this rather bizarre pile of skulls out of bread - also as conceptual art pieces. Image Credit: Lost at Eminor
The Bread Art Project was created to raise awareness about hunger - with The Grain Foundation matching each personalised art piece with a $10 donation. Image Credit: Sweet Art

Do you do any strange things with bread?
