It's More Than Just Words - Something Creative From Mercedes

Daniel Neville

After my post on typography - how words can become more than just a way to communicate and have evolved into art art form of their own - I stumbled across this ad from Mercedes. They've used typography in one of their TV ads for their pre-safe brakes.

"As the car travels through town, words form the shapes of trees, houses, buildings, and bridges. When a child is detected, however, the Mercedes-Benz pre-safe brakes kick in and danger is averted." - Although all of this is much better visualized through moving images:

A very creative take on the "The first brake that reads the street" and a visually striking use of typography. Very nice.

The heading should mention Mercedes-Benz, and not BMW.
