Strange Things to Drink Out Of
Katharina Scholtz
Given our SUPERAMAZINGFANTASTIC current brief (the caps are to express what I'm like after a can of Red Bull) I thought I'd check out things that people keep liquid in. That's right folks - strange glasses and cups.
The Want/Need Glass - A lesson, yes a lesson! Take heed and drink.
Designed by Ettienne Meneau, these glasses may not have you looking suave while drinking, exactly, but you sure as hell will look interesting. If a little akward.
These are AWESOME. Am I spending too much time at my keyboard? Maybe.
One could argue that these are more clever than beautiful. Still, they deserved a mention.
Gives new meaning to the term "green tea". Sorry, I had to.
And finally, while it is certainly not beautiful (or one could argue, well designed) the byline for The Wine Bra has earned it some seriously special attention:
"The wine bra is useful in two ways; firstly you can carry your favorite drink with you without being noticed. Secondly, it increases your boob size. Oh boy! It can store almost an entire bottle of wine!"
Almost an entire bottle? Meh.
Do you have any interesting designs to share?

Hey CharlieOne,
We've been following the debate yes, and it's certainly interesting.
I personally see a difference between asking for Spec work (which can abuse designers) and the submission of ideas, which can then be implemented in a way that's on brand.
The debate has been going on for some time though (this post was published some time ago http://andrewhyde.net/spec-work-is-evil-why-i-hate-crowdspring/) and we certainly considered it all in the evolution of Idea Bounty. Crowdsourcing doesn't work if the community isn't happy, so we've made sure to offer something that's actually sustainable.
Would be cool to hear your thoughts though..

Interesting debate at Wired...
Is Crowdsourcing Evil?
You guys weighed in on this yet? (grrr evil face)
