Levi's® has a few words

The Team at Levi’s® has been incredibly supportive and involved from the inception of their brief , to the review process, and now a surpise follow up. For all of you who asked about runners up, well just read on. So I'll shut up and let the kings of denim take a graceful stage dive....

"It was more than a month ago that the Levi's® team nailed up a wanted poster in Idea Bounty Saloon. The challenge? Fresh ideas. The reward? $3000.

The call was answered and we were not disappointed. 245 ideas were brought in, taking it right down to the wire with entries being submitted until the cut off time. With the ideas wrangled it was time to review.

What lay before us was an assortment of fresh and not-so-fresh ideas, many with merits, even if some of them had been done before. And it was great to see the variety of interpretation and direction taken on the brief.

Someone, somewhere once said something along the lines of “there is no such thing as a new idea, only old ones reworked.” But it’s how you work ideas and concepts that produces new territory in which to explore.

While we’re still on the look-out for that elusive long-term solution, we can safely say that in the freshness pile we found a tactical idea that really stood out and one we look forward to executing.

Our sincere congrats to the winning idea slinger - enjoy the cash, you deserve it. And to all the passionate local music supporters and obvious festival goers, thank you for all the support and all the contributions you guys make in the world of Levi’s®.
