Compare the Meerkat

“Listen here you pancake mixture, this site is for people who are serious about meerkats”.

It’s not everyday that I get called "pancake mixture", and to be honest, I kind of like it. I was lucky enough to pick up this new self-descriptor on a site called ComparetheMeerkat.com, which is - now listen carefully people - not about car insurance.

It’s about an excellent way to get (earn) your attention and make sure you notice a site about car insurance. Comparethemarket.com has built an entire spoof site to drive traffic to their own, and I think it’s rather brilliant.

Aleksander will guide you through the website, where you can compare YogaKat to BalletKat, and just perhaps maybe click through to compare some car insurance sites as well. My only complaint is that the site re-directs automatically to comparethemarket.com if you don't stop it - but I'm undecided on this one. Is it fair of them to control your experience in this way? What do you think?
